Via Flickr: A type-Sb spiral, M106 is the closest known ‘Seyfert’ galaxy. Twin jets, as well as two additional ‘invisible’ arms, were discovered in this galaxy in recent years. In WF view, the tiny galaxy at NW is NGC 4248, and the larger one at SW is NGC 4217.
